HOCKEY NL MINOR HOCKEY SCHOLARSHIP PART 1 (COMPLETED BY APPLICANT)

The Minor Hockey Council of Hockey NL introduced its scholarship program in the 1978 – 1979 season. Since, that time, eighty scholarships have been awarded in the Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador League. There are two Scholarships available each year: one for the Association Representative Level and one for House-League. The specific Terms of Reference and application forms are included in other sections of this document. Not only is receipt of a Hockey NL Minor Hockey Scholarship of considerable financial assistance to successful candidates; it is also regarded as an academic distinction and is a valuable addition to the resume of the winners. Each Minor Hockey Association is strongly encouraged to support the Scholarship Program by making it widely known to players, by submitting nominations every year and by encouraging qualified candidates to apply. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF NOMINATIONS IS APRIL 15th! Thank you for your cooperation and assistance.
